AMAUTA
offers high quality Spanish Courses, Accommodation and Volunteer
Placements and Excursions for its students. We are represented by
a large number of agents all over the world. The average number
of students attending our school is between 30 - 50 in low season
and between 80 - 110 in high season (June, July, August). About
30% of our students is from Northern Europe, 30% from the States
and 30% from other countries including Japan, Australia, France,
Italy and Brasil. About half of our students are between 20 and
30 years old; the other half vary between 18 and 65. AMAUTA is recognized
by the Peruvian Ministry of Education.

AMAUTA was the first Spanish School in Cusco and with
a number of 850 - 1000 students a year defenitely the most important ever
since. The school is located in a nice building at one block from the
main square, the Plaza de Armas. The student Residence is also incorporated
in this building at only five minutes walking distance from the city center.
The school is equipped with multimedia classrooms, offices, an internet
cafe, a spacious meeting room and a lovely sunny terrace.

to giving students the richest possible experience of Peruvian culture
and customs. They have been chosen because of their high quality teaching
skills, their enthusiasm and their knowledge of Cusco and Peru. Coming
from different countries in Latin-America they all took the AMAUTA teachers'
