This program is designed for those who like to study hard and play hard. With dramatic scenery, breathtaking plunges, and wild and exciting rocks and rivers, Peru is the perfect place to be outdoors and challenging yourself.
This course includes four sessions of Spanish daily in the afternoon as well daily sessions mastering an adventure sport. You can choose from
Paragliding in the Sacred Valley, Rock climbing near Cusco, or River Rafting on the Urubamba river. Spanish lessons are taught by AMAUTA professionals, while the adventure sessions are delivered by qualified specialists.
SPANISH & PARAGLIDING
In the spectacular setting of Pisac in the Sacred Valley, under the guidance of an instructor, students will learn to paraglide independently. By the end of the course, you will have covered a wide range of related topics, and you will have done your own flights of between 600 and 900 meters in altitude.
You will study 4 hours of Spanish each afternoon with one of our professional teachers.
This course has fixed starting dates, (see
pricelist). This is available for all levels of Spanish, and no prior knowledge is required for paragliding although you should have a reasonable physical condition. You should know if you have a “head for heights”.

SPANISH & ROCKCLIMBING
On our first day we head out to Zone X, near Sacsaywaman, where we will begin to learn the theory and practice of rock climbing on a 25 metre rock. On our second and third days we will visit Cusilluchayoc where four different routes to descend the rock give the student plenty of practice. On the fourth and fifth days we will further practice our skills at Pachar, about one hour from Cusco. We will climb more than fifty meters and practice different techniques and use alternative equipment. On the fifth day students will do a rock climbing exam.

SPANISH & RIVER RAFTING
Enjoy the thrill of white water rafting in this specialized course on the mighty Urubamba River! This river was central to the Inca Empire’s spiritual wealth and power. You will learn about navigating the white water, rescue techniques and how to handle a group. The course also covers first aid and international symbols.
You will raft in the morning for about 4 hours (the two week program includes 40 hours of rafting) and in the afternoon, after lunch, take part in Spanish group classes.

pricelist). This is available for all levels of Spanish, and no prior knowledge is required for river rafting although you should have reasonable physical condition. You should be able to swim.
